www.sword-of-truth.com/I just had to share this link with my homies. I finally finished the 11th book in the series, The Sword of Truth by Terry Goodkind. I'll not waste my time or yours by going into detail, that's what the link is for. I'm mostly excited because of the recent news that they're gonna do a 22 episode TV series devoted almost exclusively to the first novel, "Wizard's First Rule". Check out the website for details. The fact that I finished reading this series is testimony in itself; each novel is like 600 pages long... but just like LotR, I was totally engrossed. If the TV series is half as good as the books, I'll be chubbin'....

Nice. It's hard for me to get in to books, usually. The only other series I could get in to was "The Rift War Saga", by Raymond E. Feist. (Definitely check those out.) I will have to read about these some. I'll be chubbin'.... LOL You rock Randy.

I fell in love with Khalan while reading the books... ... the TV series has only reinforced the love.
Despite some (IMO major) differences from Goodkind's writings, I am really enjoying the TV series so far.

I haven't been able to catch it yet. Hard for me since I don't have cable/satellite though. I'll have to wait for some one to put it up on the web.

I had never heard of the guy, but shortly after getting out of the Navy, I was working for a small office supply store in Maine, and my boss had me come along with him to deliver a pair of fireproof safes to a customer's house. Turns out, the customer was Terry Goodkind. We went in and he showed us around, we talked for a couple hours, and I commented that I would grab his first book the next time I hit the bookstore. He reached over to one of his shelves, pulled down a copy, signed it and handed it to me. I was able to get the following 4 books signed and dedicated by him. I know, sounds like a B.S. fanboy story, but its true.

Sorry I missed your post Tim... that truly is a great story... I guess sometimes we forget that celebs are people too! He has been known to come off as an arrogant SOB sometimes (prolly his jealous peers) ...I'm so glad to hear your experience proved otherwise. I've always imagined him living life the "Richard Way".
I promise to check my threads more often... I had kinda given up on anyone else being interested, besides Steve and me.

;D
I'm saving all the episodes on our DVR and promised my mother-in-law to copy them in VCR format. In the meantime, I'll fire up my Turbo Limewire Pro and try to find some bit torrents.
Question for the gurus up in heeyah: looking at my Comcast digital cable box, I see a USB port located in the lower left front of the box. Can I transfer those saved episodes to my computer? or an external DVD burner? Will I fry anythaaang if I try anythaaang so remahflickin'diculous???
Curiouser and curiouser ;D

Also I just googled... Legend of the Seeker S01E01 and found a bunch of links to torrent downloads.
Hope this helps.
