If it wasn't sports or a good movie, chances are I wasn't watching it on TV. The past few years though, with the addition of DVR to our cable package, I've gotten myself caught up in about a dozen different series.
I thought this would be a good place to discuss some of our favorite TV shows.
Lost, Prison Break, Smallville, Supernatural, Fringe, Heroes, Sarah Connor Chronicles, Chuck, Bones, Sanctuary, Battlestar Galactica, Legend of the Seeker, Big Bang Theory, Eleventh Hour, Friday Night Lights, Monk, Psych, Reaper, The Mentalist, My Own Worst Enemy (already cancelled)... and due to my wife's passion for reality shows, Survivor and American Idol. Wow, thats more than a dozen and there a few shows I didn't list because I have this thing about watching everthing from the very beginning. 24 Hours and House are two that come to mind... eventually I'll download all the torrents to my hard drive and check them out too.
What are you watching these days?

Love monk and psyche (word to the madtv reference) I'm a Stargate series fan too. (Either one is good.) And I actually got in to Smallvile, even though I thought I'd hate it. A little too much drama there for me, but definitely a keeper. I didn't think I'd like "American Dad!" but now I'm loving it. I've now seen all the South Park episodes, thanks to southparkstudios.com. It's always Sunny in Philadelphia is always great too.
But, again, these are all shows that I can watch on the net, because of my limited (okay none) TV options.
Code Monkey is great too. Can't seem to think of any others atm. But I know I'm missing something.

Heroes, Sarah Connor, Smallville, Supernatural, Family Guy, Reaper, Monk, Psych, Bones, BSG, Legend of the Seeker, The Mentalist, House, That 70's Show (seen 'em all, but they're still funny), American Dad, the CSI's, Scrubs, Two and a Half Men, looking forward to Lie To Me, curious about The Last Templar, oh, and I'm still pissed about My Own Worst Enemy.

Damn! Finally I found someone who watches more shows than I do! I'm definitely feelin' ya on Lie To Me- it looks great. Right now, I'm watching Lost, Smallville, Supernatural, Terminator, Prison Break, all 3 CSI's, The Simpsons, Family Guy, My Name Is Earl, 30 Rock, and Legend of the Seeker. And, oh yeah- due to some recurring universe characters, I've been indulging in a guilty pleasure dose of Transformers Animated too. For shame...

Well, I just finished watching the season opener of Lost. I thought the hour lead-in show, Destiny Calls, was pretty nifty if only for one reason. The producers and writers stated that this season promises to start putting answers to the many questions and mysteries they've created. Okay, I bought into that... and then ya watch the first episode... KAPOOEY!! More mind bogglers! I don't wanna do any SPOILERS yet, in case some of you haven't seen it yet; but I'm excited and can hardly wait to discuss some of the stuff I just saw. I'll be back after I unscramble my brain a bit

I have a feeling Lost will keep you scrambled. i wish there was a story in that show, somewhere. (lol)
Damn you guys and having TV and crap. I have to find episodes on the web. (lol) Scrubs is one I need to go back to. I had forgotten how awesome that was. i must have gotten in to another show and got all A.D.D. distracted by it. (lol)

If I had one question to ask the writers/producers of Lost...
With all the 'time shifts' and people we thought were dead, but aren't (?) why in the world haven't you guys brought back Mr. Eko? and/or his brother?
I've watched this series very closely from the beginning, and as far as actors/characters and storylines, Mr. Eko was tops. If I had to guess, I'd say there was a contract dispute... bad move on the actors part. (can't recall his name, its a mile long)

Been watching SCRUBS on a daily basis still, finally up to Season 6. Also, picked up an old anime from my younger days, just to revel. I've ended up falling in love with it again. It's not hard to get past some of the "lol's" and 'cheeky-ness' of the older one's when you have an attachment to an old favorite.
It has lot's of the 'epic' feel you get from 'fighter style' anime's but it's fresh. I don't think it was ever a popular one. It is hard as hell to find a non-mega video collection of it, or even really find it at all. Stupid mega video, always limiting how many things I can watch a day! I watch SCRUBS there also, so I've been having a hard time watching much of both now. (Any suggestions on this?)

If I had to guess, I'd say there was a contract dispute... bad move on the actors part. (can't recall his name, its a mile long) I don't think it was a contract dispute. I think the actor that played Mr. Eko wanted to move on to do other things. A lot of people liked his character, but I never really cared for him. Still, you're right about the actor's decision in that it wasn't smart and I wasn't pleased that the writers had to write him out which snuffed the character's story thread. Charlotte's character has gotten kind of a bum wrap too. Her story was supposed to be pretty interesting, but all the freighter people's backgrounds got dropped last season due to the writer's strike and they've never really revisited it. But I guess this season isn't over yet so we'll see. This season of Lost has been an interesting ride. I really liked the first several episodes, but it kinda entered a lull. The last episode was great though and next week's looks pretty cool too. On a side note: I've been watching Heroes like crazy. Thank God for streaming Netflix (and shame on them for charging me yet another $2/month for Blu-ray).
