The more I think about this "announcement", the more I feel the game slipping to the PS3...

Well, apparently it's still scheduled for release on the PS2. The game was finally playable recently at the Square Enix Party 2005. With specualation of a battle system revamp going around, I figured that was the reason for the delay. But it seems that the targeting lines are still there, telling me that maybe it just needed severely tweaked and not reworked. You can read all about it over at IGN.

Feeling the same way about this game as the movie. I think Final Fantasy is doomed. They announced on G4 that 11(online) was more of a flop then a success. Hmmmm...can it be that gay MMORPG gameplay? Or was it just a poopy game? But with the loss of Nobuo Uematsu and lots of others that made FF what it was...it doesnt look good for the series. But...look at the bright side..a re-make of 7 on the PS3.....WHATEVER...*yawn*

I dunno- anywhere from 500,000 to a million dummies paying $16 bucks a month, sound like a success to me. Now, whether the game was any good is a different matter...

Now, whether the game was any good is a different matter... considering the fact that i pay to play wow i dont feel stupid. never the less ff11 was hoping for more ppl to play and thats why they consider it a flop. and as far as ff games go it is sales wise. wing is right. there needs to be a true final fantasy. they made a war horse from the series and it is now time to put it out to pasture and there just milking the last few years it has that it can still stand . ofcourse if you look at it like i do there sorta beating the horse dead. no new ideas, interesting stories. just same old same old. sad how a series has fallen so far from grace.
